Disco Dancer has landed

We traded in the X5 for a new Land Rover Discovery. Before we get comments - all new land rovers have a compulsory ClimateCase package so all C02 has been offset for first 45K miles and the entire manufacturing process.
All the boys like the various gadgets and keeps us quiet on long journeys. Landie also lets us off-road when we shoot and is very handy in the green lanes around the house. It's also great having 7 seats as we don't need two cars to ferry visitors around over the weekends. Lets hope ownership over the next few years is without incident!

Looks very striking in the silvery-grey colour! You commuting in it this week? Which engine did you go with ultimately?

Its a stornaway grey, which looks great when its clean, but it's already started to look a little bit dirty. Turbo Diesel V6. 2.7 de-tuned jag engine. Very relaxed, lots of torque and alot quieter at cruise on motorway compared with X5. Did one commute this week and found some great bits out with the sat nav. It tells you how long each junction is on the motorway. So, 6 mins to jn 5, then 15 to jn4! Cool. Also you get traffic updates via radio frequency. Stuck in a jam. touched the red icon on sat nav screen and it told me the traffic lights were out of action. Another cool feature
